Wessex Astronomical Society
The WAS Library consists of around 140 books covering between them a wide range of astronomy and astronomically related subjects. Access to the book store is limited and unreliable and so only a selection of books is displayed at each society meeting. Over time all the books will be displayed as they are rotated. Books from the store, which is fully catalogued, may be reserved in advance of meetings; details of this are set out below.
Paper catalogues and a fully searchable computer catalogue are available at each meeting.Library. Future Developments Fuller browsing of the collection may be available once the stock is relocated. It is hoped to provide a regular list on the website of recently published or forthcoming astronomy books. |
