Field Meetings' Site at Holt Heath |
The Holt Heath site (C) is located
about 150 yards north of the cross-roads between Lower Row and Higher Row
(MapRef:
SU 047046).
There is firm standing for cars on the verge adjacent to the site. The site is located behind a roadside barrier.
It is somewhat shielded from the main light source to the south yet is reasonably
easy to reach for many members.
Please bring binoculars, scopes (any size), cameras, or any other equipment.
If you do not have any astronomical equipment, come along anyway, everyone will
be pleased to show you what's visible at that time. Dress warmly, as you can get
cold quickly! Please don't leave litter, and arrive and depart quietly.
