Durlston Country Park is located just south of Swanage in Dorset (see bottom of page for how to get there). The Astronomy Centre consists of a telescope housed in its own observatory dome, together with supporting facilities for talks and lectures in the close-by Visitor Centre. It is supported by the Ranger staff at the Country Park and by members of the Wessex Astronomical Society.

It will commence at 7.30pm with an illustrated talk then telescope views of Venus, Mars, Saturn, Moon and the Winter/spring Constellations. Check here or phone Alan Jefferis on 01929 422961 after 4.30 pm, or Durlston on 01929 427965 if the weather uncertain.     --> Current Cloud Forecast

To get to Durlston - Proceed to Swanage town centre and follow the brown Leisure signs.
